Group Activity - 11/9/09

Article #1
A) Thesis: San Francisco and Massachusetts now offer the only near-universal health care programs in the United States.
B)Main Points:
1)Today, almost all residents in the city have affordable access to a comprehensive health care delivery system through the Healthy San Francisco program.
2)To pay for this, San Francisco put into effect an employer-health-spending requirement
3)There has been great demand for this plan. Thus far, around 45,000 adults have enrolled, compared to an estimated 60,000 who were previously uninsured.

4) Group Statement= We all agreed that these variety of articles are all under the same subject and are common, they try to help people out yet these articles are targeting certain people and all have different meanings to the term health care such as universal, global, within the states, etc!

6)Because I stated the thesis earlier, the argument I can say is that the U.s Health care is not effective based on the other countries use of health care. It seems like there health care is better, and how Barrack Obama wanted to create a better health care system, but he didn't seem to fix it
